Malta: My internship abroad
I had a lot of fun during the time in Malta. I earned a lot of experiences about myself, working abroad and about Malta itself.
Everything started on the 28th of July. My flight went from Frankfurt international airport directly to Malta without a crying baby on board. I arrived at 7p.m and was picked up by Clive, who was responsible for me during the time in Malta.
After 10 minutes we arrived at the accommodation in the center of Malta next to a marina. First, I had to get used to be alone in a foreign country and in an accommodation, which was meant for 6 people. My first working day started on the 30th of July at Horizon 2000 a computer center that provides different courses, repairs and several services like advertising and website developing. My main task there was to create advertisement with Photoshop and developing websites.
After the first week with a lot of near-accidents because of the left-driving cars I finally got used to be alone and started to enjoy the trip. I went to different festivals like world club dome and Tomorrowland, went diving and saw a lot of places from Game of Thrones: from the place where Ned Stark got killed to the wedding of Daenerys and Drogo.
I recommend everyone to use this opportunity because it’s an experience you won’t forget, furthermore it looks good on your CV.
